    Default Photography and GPS Units

I just purchased a hand-held GPS unit yesterday for hiking and boating. I'm curious if anyone knows of any web sites out there that show coordinates or waypoints for photographic locations?

In other words, If I'm planning a trip somewhere, is there a site I can go to to see other peoples waypoints that they've uploaded, and maybe even a photo they've taken?

    Thanks for any input!

    Hi AJ,

I found this site http://www.panoramio.com but I think the problem you will find is there is likely to be a lot of snapshots and cell phone images. Might not be the best help in terms of locating places for serious photography. First time I have looked into it though.

You can see photos uploaded to Google Earth too and export the data to a file or send directly to a supported GPS.

I have a high sarcasm rate. Deal with it.
