    Excellent photo!!! You captured it in some great light. Real nice wing position, great head angle, and I really like that we can see enough of the eye. Great feather detail and background. Well done.

    I like the golden tone througout, and the wing positions look great. The comp is so-so IMO...I know the tail caused problems and you wanted to include it all but with the two wings already cut going ahead and also cutting the tail is an option for better subject placement in the frame. You don't need to agree with it but it is an option to think about...

    I think you created an interesting image given the clipped wings
    The colors, HA and "eye" contact make the image interesting

    Daniel's comment about clipping the tail does improve the positioning of the hawk
