    Hello everybody! i made this picture on Costera Trail (Tierra del Fuego National Park) hope you like it, like always comments and suggestions are more than welcome!

    Very nice HA, and exposure to cpapture the dark details
    To me, the branch doesn't add to the photo. I would crop in from RHS or use masks to remove it

    Fantastic colour to the eye. I like the pose, and I especially like the curled head plumes. I agree the OOF branch does not add anything positive to the image, and I wonder if the plumage is a little bluer than it should (I say this having never seen this species before...)? I'd also darken the upper mandible.

    Striking bird taken under low light conditions. Agree with Peter and Daniel about the branch.

    Did you need to run noise reduction?

    Would like to see the entire bird in a future post if you have one, since I have never seen this bird before.

    I actually like the OOF branch, as it places the bird in its habitat... I've always felt the female of this species is so much more interesting (and easier to photograph/expose?) than the male!
