I was observing several bottlenose dolphins slowly cruising back and forth close to shore near the Sanibel Lighthouse on a hazy day in January. Evidently, they were herding fish into the shallows as every few minutes one would suddenly make a high-speed maneuver with a lot of thrashing and splashing as it (I assume) pursued a fish. One of these instances is pictured here. I am not sure how well this image works given the less than spectacular light so I am interested in other opinions. 20D, 70-200 f/2.8 (at 100mm) +1.4X, 1/1,000, f/8, ISO 400. Cropped top and bottom for a pano look. Comments welcome and appreciated.
