    Gitzo 3530LS tripod, Wimberley full head

    MEant to add that I did NR on background, sharpening on spoonie, cloned out an Oystercatcher on the right, and the reflection of it, and a few mucky things on beach. Selected neck to try to bring out highlights a bit.

    Excellent composition and pose. I really like this.

    I don't mind the shadows but I feel they might be indicative of some harsh or bright lighting.
    If mine I would be tempted to tone everything down a bit before converting from RAW.

    DOF is right on and lots of detail.

    Very dramatic pose with excellent detail. On my monitor, the repost seems like a definite improvement with regard to the whites.

    Your cloning job is excellent - cannot tell that anything was removed.
