Great image. I like the colours in the bird and you held the whites well.

Have you used NR on the image? As it looks like a bit of detail has been lost but perhaps it my be the cropping.

    A stunning bird.

Thanks guys...Only NR on the BG. I have changed my sharpening techniques. Maybe thats why. Also could be the high ISO. The feet do look a little strange to my eye. I have re- sharpened the JPEG. Would like to know if its better or not

    Lovely image.

Great pose, soft and warm light and great bg.

Both are fine with me and the second has a bit sharper details.

I really like the nice warm light in this one. It just feels nice and warm.

A Beauty, Dumay! I like the repost, it seems sharper. Great BG and HA also. I might tone down the bright OOF weed in the LR BG though.

I think the repost is better too. Dan's suggestion to tone down the bright weed in the BG is a good one. Beautiful portrait, Dumay, I really like it.

    Hi Dumay,

Your re-post is right on the money! Great soft light and background.

Like the repost also Dumay, you've captured the colours on this little guy very well with a nice complimentary BG.
