    Default Duck Island

Not sure on this one. Interested as to comments. I was not going to keep it for the following reason - I did not see the reed that was a meter or so infront of the lens. I was set up behind reeds and I thought I had a clear line of sight, well there was a faint line running from top to bottom just to the right of the far right duck. I tried to clone it out.

    7d, 500mm + 1.4ext, 1/500 @ f9, ISO 400, EV -1/3.

    Thanks, Tom.

I like the reflection and colors...Would like to see the eye on the right duck and the plants in front of the two ducks may bug some ...But looks like you did a decent job cleaning up that reed...Nice one Tom

I had not noticed the cloned out reed. I think the various reflections tend to camouflage it. Well done.

The one drawback for me is the right duck. No eye contact seems to take a lot away from a very nice reflection shot.

Lovely colours in bg and lovely little island. If this was in my area I would certainly be going back and trying for a bit better ha's.

Nice shooting angle to get reflections.

That duck was well and truly asleep, short of going over and asking it to wake up I was not getting an eye open.

Mutiple bird images seem to be just as much about luck than skill.

I have another image without the full reflection and two of the three ducks have perfect head angles. I went with the full reflection and compromised on the head angles.
