    Photographed last week on the Bay side of Mustang Island State Park, just south of Port Aransas, TX.

    Like low angle, even lighting and upward wing extension. Nice exposure & soft light on this one, Mike. Nicely framed and well done!

    Nothing not to like - "great shot" and here is why.

    The subject is both interesting and a beautiful specimen.
    Excellent action was captured.
    Awesome detail in wings.
    Dead on exposure and sharpness.
    Eye contact due to low perspective.
    Well balanced composition.
    No distracting elements.

    Its all been said in the previous post. I would just like to add that the droplets of water add a bit more to the image as well.
