Another shot from Saturday evening. Ran NR on background, hopefully not to much, debated on removing light colored area in the LLC Thanks for looking! Appreciate the critique.

Gary, Beautiful details, head angle, pose and light. Killer complimentary BG. The color in the LLC doesn't bother me.

Gary, beautiful capture. Although the light area you mention is not really a major distraction, I think I might clone it out if it were me. Either way, excellent shot.

Sweet image all around, Gary - sharp, great exposure, pleasing muted colors

I have removed distractions like the blue patch easily with Content Aware Fill, sometimes requiring a little extra cleanup with the clone brush. Also, you could probably use a bit less BG NR -- to my eye the BG seems a bit too smooth -- but that's a minor nit.

You didn't mention the f/stop used - would be interested in knowing.

Thanks Ron, I was surprised I did not see you out there Saturday night.

    Gary:

Very nicely done, with excellent angle, pose, colors and BG.

Water drops add, I particularly like the large one on the curve of the breast.

I might consider just a bit of eye doctor work on the pupil. You can improve the apparent sharpness by evening out the black in the pupil a bit.

Hope to get out sometime soon, but weather isn't sounding too promising for the weekend.

    Cheers

Nice shot! not much to critique.
There is something about the background which seems odd...areas which seem more OOF than others which makes it seem manipulated. It kind of creates a "halo" around the drake's head....maybe a selection issue when doing the BG editing?
The highlight in the LLC doesn't quite fit and I would probably remove it, but I don't find it particularly objectionable.
