    Sid, great action, I like the water drops. I only wish the nictitating membrane weren't dulling the eye. Otherwise great.

    Birds use nictitating membrane for protection during fishing. With out that this image is not going to be natural. In fact I am happy to got that one right.

    I like the pose and excellent angle on the bird.

    Nice and sharp and timing of action is spot on as well.

    Superb! Love that you've got the fish's eye as well as the bird's. Bird's head in the splash is cool as are the droplets.

    Sid, I knew the purpose, but didn't know exactly when it opens or closes on any given dive for prey. Thanks for the explanation and congrats on a great image as always.

    Very well timed Sid, and I like how the water has lapped over the herons head. I also like the large flying droplets.
