    Default Perched Pyrrhuloxia

Another image from my road trip to Arizona last month - a perched Pyrrhuloxia. I just love that crest...

These are outstanding birds and you have really captured this one nicely Jeff. The image is sharp with a great BG. Love the crest too! I'm thinking that the bird is a little too centred and needs to be over to the right a little. Maybe some off the right would work?

Nicely done. Just enough d-o-f to get the tail sharp while taming the BKGR. The raised crest is lovely and the head angle is perfect. It is amazing how far to the right of the bird its shadow is.

Good choice of comp for the pose Jeff, and I like the detail, colours and sharpness. Good use of flash too.
