    Nice "action" photo and well timed. I agree with Gary about HA and I wonder, how this would look if there would be little more room below the bird. Great job overall anyway...

    Awesome action shot, great techs, love the bit of environment on the left, nicely blurred BG. As mentioned, a better HA would have improved the shot.

    Can you lighten the side of the head a bit? This might compensate somewhat for the less-than-perfect HA.

    I like Mikko's suggestion for more room at the bottom, althought the crop as posted works fine too.

    Hi Gary ,Mikko,John and Dumay Thanks for the comments and suggestions.I have lightened the face and reposted. A bit reluctant to show the ledge below the bird as it ,I feel, this reduces the impact but that is debateable.
