    Default I Am Taller

Well, I know I have not been around for awhile. Very busy with art shows and such. But anyway, was very recently following two Sandhill Crane nests. I was fortunate to have them get very confortable with us being around, so had some fantastic photographic opportunities! These chicks are only 2 days old. Taken with the Nikon D300 and Nikon 70-300VR, f/7.1, iso 640, 1/250, reduced fill flash with SB700, post processed in NX2.

The sharpness and detail speak well for the lens and your skills as well. Lovely moment captured. Great comp.and the title is sweet.

This is such a lovely image. I like that the 2 birds are facing each other. It would be nicer if the HA of the taller bird was a bit better, but I think it's such a cute image with the 2 chicks together.

    Wonderful image, soft and beautiful.
The soft focus in the foreground and the background with the middle ground sharp is just right.
    Congratulations on getting this.

The chicks are adorable. Bkgd and HA's are what they are
If it were mine, i'd remove the grass between the chicks using a quick Content Aware Fill and Lens Blur. I might also soften/blur the prominent grass in the LLC
Nicely done - thanks for sharing

About as cute as it gets, Nancy....I like the version with the grass removed best, but either way it's very sweet.

This is lovely!! I preffer the original with the flower in the middle. Maybe a bit more room on the sides and some more sharpening.
