    just love these Stephen - never been able to get one so cooperative at Rietvlei. Nice handling of the whites and super perch of course :)

    was this taken vertical or cropped from landscape?

    I love the unique combination of bird and mammal here. The shot of the egret, by itself, is superb, but the combination is over the top.

    Nice!! Great exposure, and take-off flight pose is perfect. A bit of NR to the BG wouldn't hurt, but a fine image indeed!
