All of my roses are in bloom. Spring is such a nice time of year.

This is gorgeous, Maureen. Lovely shades of white. I am wondering if a small round of nr would reduce some of the noise in the darker part of the flower. What lens did you use for this image?

Thanks, Indranil. I'll try a round of NR.

Beautiful curves and detail here. I think that the strong vertical shadow at the bottom is a bit distracting and have roughly cropped it in my browser which I prefer, but it is your image and is certainly lovely as presented.

Maureen, this makes me think of a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream and nutmeg on top. Ok, I'm a little strange... Lovely flower image. I am a little curious about the crop, as I feel like there is something on the right that I am missing. I have to admit that I don't know much about shooting flowers though. Good job with the flash!

Maureen, Soft and dreamy-does remind me of whipped cream. I might tighten up the comp to eliminate the shadows at the bottom if it were mine.

Kerry, you're too funny. Hot chocolate in a rose. Oh my.

Hillary and Denise - thanks much for the cropping suggestions!
