    Canon 50D, ss 1/250, f5, ISO800, 300mm+1.4TC
    Overcast, could have used a little flash.
    Cloned out some distractions.
    Appears oversaturated on this forums.

    Mmm, mmm, good! I had to look really really close to find something not perfect about this one and that's the artifacts (probably from sharpening) around the mouth and back of the head. Everything else is luscious, John! Very strong angle, good position of the duck, lovely comp and crop...it all works for me!

    Great duck, creamy BG and great low angle. Despite the light, you got a nice light in the eye and good detail on the shadowed side of the head, so I'm not sure that flash would have been a plus here. Looks to me like the backside light is relatively strong, highlighting the edge of the head. I'm not really seeing artifacts when looking at it in this size.

    I didn't know that! Learn something 'new' everyday. I am using IE.
