This was taken at Bosque this past January near sunset. Canon 1DMkIV, manual, 1/25 @F9, Canon 800mm with 1.4 converter, ISO 200. Only noise reduction and some sharpening of the head and body. Would appreciate any comments and suggestion.

This has a nice dreamy feel to it Richard. It really helps on panning blurs like this one to get the head sharp, which doesn't happen very often unfortunately.

Good pan-blur. I like the movement throughout. I also like the sense of a sizeable flock present on the ground. I would at the very least eliminate the grayish blob in LRC - you could even crop out the lowest dark band for a cleaner lower edge.

A good pan blur. They are never easy to achieve I know I've tried!
Nice overall blur in the image, its a shame about the grey blob in the background. It would be an idea to clone it out and crop a bit off the bottom to eliminate the brown foreground.

    Hope this helps

Loved it...very surreal and attractive. Well composed and exposed.

Very nice blur effect, Richard. Wonderful sense of motion, and like how the head stayed fairly sharp.

Richard, Lovely blur and I agree w/ Daniel suggestions regarding the lower edge. Soft color tones add to this IMO.
