    Nice image for the fairly harsh lighting. The background is a little distracting. I tried roughly blurring the background and probably overdid it but if you like it you might consider doing this more carefully and to a lesser extent.

    Thanks for the comments and the blur idea. I kind of like showing a little of the habitat, such as some of the marsh on the bottom. Light was not too harsh, sun was just coming up. May try just a little blur.

    I rather like the hint of marsh in LRC, I'd keep it there. Perfect full wings up pose, and good comp. I agree the crane could use a bit more sharpening for web post. Light looks good to me, too.

    Lovely wing position and stretched out neck. I like the marsh as originally posted, but repost is nice too. Agree on a bit more USM.
