    Beautiful bird, light, wing position. Mud flat not too bad. BKGR; U-G-L-Y. :) I would tone down the bright mangrove trunk between the birds wings.

    Sid, love the color, the light and the pose. The background is what it is, but if you could tone down the mangrove trunk/roots a bit, I think it would crank it up a notch. Still, a beautiful shot to be very pleased with.

    Very pleasing habitat image Sid. I actually like the BG and think it makes this image and gives a sense of context and habitat. Beautiful wing span. Would consider toning down the bright trunk between the wings but noting else.

    Beautiful wing position and colors. I agree that I like the hint of habitat but would tone down the bg highlights. I'd be pleased with this one.

    Great colors on the spoonbill and wing position
    Although i like the darker bkgd colors, i find the shapes of the mangrove trunks compete with the bird. Another option would be to apply a blur filter to make them less noticeable
