A mature bald eagle descending feet first with talons spread open wide in a ready position while the open wings are swept back toward the sky. The eagle's head is bent downward and the eyes focused sharply as this eagle is a model of concentration... The background is a snow covered rural Iowa hillside. Nikon D300 f11 1/1000th ISO 250 Exp. Very nice shot --- I like the concentration in its eyes. Good sharpness. What lens/magnification did you use? You may have been able to open up the aperture a more to blur out the background a bit more (and get slightly more ss). But still like it as is.
