Default American Avocet head-on and full speed

This perhaps the toughest condition I had to deal with so far, Avocet coming at you at high speed in low light. Incoming shots are always tough and in this one there is zero room for error, the focus point has to be exactly on the head between the eyes at the time of ideal wing position, if the head is even slightly off the focus plane the image will have to go to trash due to thin DOF... most of the time the camera is not fast enough to grab it, needs lots of practice, luck and patience. Hope you like it :)

Very cool shot Arash! Never easy to get the right part of a bird such as an Avocet in focus when it's coming right at you. I like the placement of the bird in the center of the frame.
