Hi Grant, an absolutely cracking POV, love the raised paw and inquisitive look, those ears are to die for.

Ideally having the whole dog in would have been great, but guess you don't have too much to play with on a shot like this. Would be tempted to tone down the white areas in the BG above the head. Again, colours look good but am viewing on laptop.

thanks Steve and Ofer, I have toned down the white sky a little already, though perhaps not enough. Steve, I was at 70mm so nowhere to go in terms of zoom.

Wow Grant! Great POV. Not sure who was observing who here. Good use of vertical. Great paw position too.

    Well done!

So much interest, Grant. Love the raised paw, eye contact and of course the ears. Love it.

Great POV on this one Grant. I would suggest more crop on the left so that the "V" section of BG where the hind quarter is bent is cropped out.

Good image all round with the low angle and raised foot adding to the curious expression of the dog, nicely captured Grant.

you know I love this one Grant...spectacular!
the dog commands so much attention here, IMHO the bright parts of the sky don't even come into play...

Thanks Morkel, Marc, Grace and Pieter, glad you liked the shot. Robert, I tried out your suggestion and I feel that though it does remove that slightly distracting shape of the hind leg, for me it tremoving the leg takes away from the dogs 'poised' stance. Thanks for commenting everybody.
