Bird Studies Canada runs a national fundraiser called the Baillie Birdathon. People obtain sponsors and go out and bird for the day. Monies raised go to bird research and conservation. I was lucky this year to have one of my images chosen as the 2011 "logo" for the website, Participants Kit and the birdathon t-shirt. Have a look here.
