    Just entered the 600mm club, my Canon Ef 600 mm f/4 L IS USM (used) arrived last week on Monday, so in the weekend went to test it, i'm pretty happy with it, it worth every penny...

    Congrats on the 600mm.

    I love the pose here, in profile, with the beak open against nice creamy (pea soup) green BG. The leafy branch is a nice touch also. I don't see a way to improve.

    The 600 is my favorite lens; I'm glad you're enjoying your new purchase. Couldn't ask for a better first 600mm image post. Perfect on all counts, save for the fact that you could post it a little larger.

    Great IQ and the detail is insane. I like the beak open pose and i love the perch. The BG is smooth and the colors compliment each other beautifully....Congrats on the new lens

    Doug, normally I don't put photos in the forum with more than 800 or 900px because I need to "save it for web" in less quality than I like...

    For putting the 1024px image below I had to put quality on 75%...
