    certainly is an interesting take Ben...great light and textures, you can almost make out a face here (would the appropriate term be "***face"? )

    I would definitely play around with this in B&W since it has the makings of a great textured monochrome canvas print...

    I like the detail and texture. I don't know why but the image reminds me of Snuffleupagus from Sesame Street. Sorry for the cultural reference if you don't have Sesame Street but you can Google "Snuffleupagus."

    A different POV Ben, to the normal images of this animal we see here.

    If you can, I would try to make this 'symmetrical' taking the centre line through the spine and crop on the sides accordingly. Plus taking on board Morkels thought of going B/W could give you a rather striking detail shot. Like the texture & detail.

    I agree tht B&W would be a good way to go here and with Steve's suggestion on making it symmetrical with the tail vertically in the center of the image.
