Brendan, I used an app called "Comic Life" by Plasq. It is available for both Windows and Mac. It has a great selection of effects for the images as well as the text and titles. Big fun!

Got moved and finally got internet access again today, but also have a lot of boxes so it will be a few weeks before I can return to the fold. Miss all of the fun here, but have to carve out the holes so we can dwell in this abode!!!
