    An unusual pose, for sure; nice feather detail, complimentary bg; the head looks a bit soft to me.

    Katie, I think it is soft because it was due to the feather. I seen that kind of effect on owlets as well. Will revisit.

    Troy,

    The composition and pose are very artistic.... but in all honesty I have to agree with Sid about the HA. When i'm looking at it, I find myself wishing that the bird was looking more level and to the left side of the frame.

    I'm thinking that this pose might have worked better as a silhouette perhaps? Thanks for sharing!

    It's definitely a very dynamic pose - I like that part very much :)
