I tried using Andrew's fract. workflow (thanks Andrew and Cheryl F.) - I don't think I've used rounded much in the past but I really liked the effects.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated

Cheryl, I really like your image here. (I am a big fan of deer photography, both viewing and trying to get it.)

I like your fract effect, and i like the habitat and all the room above and to the left. I find it very interesting and makes the image less "zoo like" for me. But I do wish there was more room a the bottom to include the feet, virtual or otherwise. Could you clone in some grass there on some added canvas? Can you contrast/or sharpen the eyes and nose a bit more to make them stand out better?

Oh, I really like this! Thanks for posting it, Cheryl S.

Cheryl, I like the fract. filtering that you did. It does take a busy BG and create some interesting effects. The foliage the way it frames the deer is lovely. I agree a bit more room at the bottom would be nice. I'm fine w/ the sharpness. I like this one.

This is very, very cool looking Cheryl! Like the 3D effect on the deer, it almost looks like its made of paper mache. The BG habitat looks great. Would be nice to have all of the legs. Real nice use of processing and effects. I have to check out Andrew's method.

The frac effect really compliments the delicate deer. Well done, Cheryl!

Hi Cheryl, the lack of feet is a little disconcerting, but I like the effect and environment a lot. It's very different with the palm fronds instead of pine trees, but the overall look seems like a magical forest. Nice work with the fracting!

Looks lovely Cheryl. I agree a little more room on the bottom would be nice, but the fract works is very nicely done!
