    Default Two Last Harlequins

For now... hopefully I will get another chance at them soon before they leave town.

This is precious, Bonnie. I know how difficult to expose they are, maybe if you tried combining two exposures, one normal and one underexposed to keep some detail in the whites if there's any, would improve a good image. Hope you can enjoy them for some more time.

Thanks, Fabs--I really don't think there is anything to work with on the raw file. This was taken at 0 ec. I am wondering if I should bracket the exposure next time I get a chance at these guys, and see what I can come up with. They are not easy! LOL! But fun!

I don't know if you can pull bracketing with a moving subject, bt worth the try. Try -0.3 Ev to protect the whites a bit, the darks look like they wouldn't mind.

Hi Bonnie, I like this post better than previous with more separation between the 2 birds here. Agree with Fabs that the dark tones could probably tolerate going darker and therefore tone down the whites at the same time.

Great composition Bonnie! Hard to expose those whites for sure. I like the ondulatiing wave action here.
