    They are such pre-historic-looking birds. I like the full wing extension and detail.

    Very nice BIF pose, Dan. Like the full wing extension and diagonal line, nice underwing details, and twig in bill is nice touch. Wonder if it's possible to bring out any more detail in the shadow area of the far wing. Good capture!

    I much prefer the WB on the repost, which was a tad too yellow on the first. Good gliding-in pose. Couldn't this individual have picked a bigger twig than that?? I'd crop just a wee bit more at bottom - just enough to hide the thin strip of cloud in LLC.

    Anytime I show family and friends images of GBHs one word that always comes up from them is "prehistoric"...
