This is my first decent shot of a vulture in flight. Its pretty difficult to shoot any bird in flight from inside your car, especially a raptor thats looming large in your lens. Taken in the Kruger National Park last year Oct.

Cool looking perspective and pose, Stuart. Blue eye is great. Good details, sharpness & techs considering your circumstances. Like how you can see legs in tucked, "landing gear" up position. Would be great if the beak were just a bit more distinct, but not so easy at that perspective & distance. Nice job!

It must have been pretty exciting to have such a large bird coming in right over top of you.

Nice light and exposure looks spot on. Very sharp where it needs to be.

    Well done.

Great eye contact and I like the color in the head. Might be inclined to crop a little off the bottom.

Stuart this looks more like a Hooded Vulture, the small beak is a give away, Regards Lokie

Thanks a stack for the feedback.

Loukie, I think you may be correct with the ID.
