I know it is against the light so he right side of the body is in shadow...But the light is pretty good on the face. Not 100% satified with the IQ, but I like the moment anyway...Thanks for looking!

Dumay - good action, well captured. I like that only one hand is down and the rest of the monkey is in the air. It really conveys the movement. Color looks good and I don't mind the shadow.

Dumay, I think this has worked very well. Like Rachel I love the feeling of movement you convey and the foot/hand position is very interesting. I'm on my laptop so can't tell about the IQ but it doesn't look too bad to me. Love the face detail.

I think this came out just fine Dumay. I like the on-the-run action.

As mentioned Dumay the action captured is great, with a good low angle. The shadow also does'nt bother me as there is a lot of detail. Love the fixed stare of concentration on the monkeys face.

one of the best Vervet shots I've seen in a while Dumay - love the sidelight and perfect body position here, low angle takes it over the top

I see the new glass is performing very nicely indeed

Works for me Dumay, like the action and setting, especially with the bit of dirt being kicked up from the rear feet.

Just wonder at a larger size if the high ISO might start to be more apparent within the image?

Hi Dumay, all looks pretty good to me, great action shot of a vervet monkey and not so easy to get. Like the low POV, the light in his eyes, and overall feel of the shot..
    Strong shot for me,

Thanks all for the comments...Steve I think you are right on the ISO more apparent on a larger image. I actually forgot the iso on 1600 from photographing a leopard in tough conditions the night before. Also saved a smaller size as i was not a 100% satisfied with the IQ and also with it being a busy image to save at a high enough quality for BPN I decided to size it smaller.
