Hi Adrian, excellent detail here, simply pops off the background. Lighting is gorgeous.

Excellent. Great detail and DOF, lovely background. Very nice subject in excellent condition. Pretty much a perfect example of this type of image.

This is a Daffodil with personality--peppy and happy. Excellent detail in the yellows and white. I like the bit of yellow reflected in the whites. Sharp with smooth bg--how did you achieve that? The lighting gives flower a 3 dimensional look. Excellent!

Hi Adrian. This is a striking image - for all the reasons already noted above. I wouldn't change a thing. Very well done.

    Thank you very much!
Anita, the image was shot outside, in shadow light with a silver blend for fill light. The BG is a green cloth
placed about 2 meters behind the flower.

Is a "silver blend" a silver reflector? Also, how did you hold up the green cloth? Thanks for the explanation--gives me ideas to try.

Yes ,Anita, a silver reflector...(sorry for the word confusion). The green cloth was "hanged" on two sticks stuck in the ground.

This is very, very nice, Adian. Wonderful color, detail, and I agree, BG was nice choice and makes the flower pop. Well done!
