    very nice image. I took several images of these in Galapagos against volcanic rock backgrounds where the birds natural camo made it especially tough to get sharp focus-so I really appreciate this image.

    Beautiful image Desmond. I have been wanting to see one of these owls. I really like the BG. My only niggle, is that on my monitor, it appears that you may have over sharpened a bit, but I may be wrong. Lovely shot.

    really nice background. Doesn't look really oversharpened to me but I'm still new so it may be haha :)
