We saw a few of these at Pooks Hill Lodge on our recent trip. They were coming to a large flowering and fruiting bush. I couldn't decide whether to leave the fruits on the right in or crop them out, and I decided that it would make a more interesting image to leave them in. Natural light, no flash, D300, Tamron 200-500 leaning on a post. Aperture priority, ISO 1600, 1/500, f6.3.

Richard, welcome to the Rufous-Tailed Hummingbird club! At least it's a different take on the same bird. It looks a little soft on my monitor, and some of the whites are blown. Beautiful bird though!

Nice bird, comp is good and the lightning seems nice and soft, but there are definate processing problems hurting the success of the image.

There are halos, way too much contrast and noise creating problems.

What a thrill it must be to see these beautiful Hummers! Great eye contact.
