    Default The loving couple

I know that woodstorks get a bad rap for being a bit ugly, well, I suppose really ugly. They show great affection towards each other which got me trying to get an image that showed them in a good light, so to speak. Well, this is one of them taken at the Alligator Farm this past week. D300 and Nikon 500mm with a 1.4TC, iso 640, f 7.1, 1/3200 and ec -.67

    All comments welcomed. :)

You've certainly succeeded in showing their affection with this image.....the expressions on their faces are priceless. Good exposure and framing. A really cute image..

Thank you Linda!:) I am glad you saw their expressions and such!! They are very difficult to isolate for they keep in such numbers together.

Very nice exposure on the whites. I must say, though, that you haven't done anything to convince me that they're not ugly :-).

    Fun pose!

Good exposure job and cool interaction and I love the birds expression!

The sky looks a too neon for my taste but thats a personal thing. I would tone down the neon blue a little with the sat control.

Thanks Robert:). I did try what you suggested and it did look better. I had looked at that earlier but could not decide.
