    This shot was taken on Friday, I suspect that by now pretty well most of the waxwings will have flown back to mainland Europe. This one was eating wind-blown berries on the ground.

    Good low angle Jonathan, and I like how you have captured the head raised, with the waxwing 'showing' off his berry. Maybe a little more room at the bottom.

    I like the low angle and the vivid colours. Berry in the mouth is cool...looks like it is showing it off to you! I do find the shaded grasses/flowers in front hurt the image IMO (I like them there, I just would have preferred them sunlit too).

    Thanks for the C&C much appreciated, typically the bird was right on the edge of a bright sunlit area and a shaded area and most of the best poses were in the shaded area
