    Default Bald Eagle Portrait

A mature bald eagle in SE Iowa perched on a tree branch sidelit by afternoon sunlight strikes a pose as if lost in a moment of deep contemplation. I would appreciate feedback and thoughts on the shadows (do they add texture and interest or di I leave them too dark? Nikon D300 80-400VR @370mm 1/1600 f13 Exp. bias -1.0 ISO 400 handheld. Thanks for looking.

very nice pose and good details, I would lighten and desaturate the sky a bit, lighten the dark areas and sharpen a bit more. TFS

Thanks Hawkman and Troy for your feedback. I appreciate your input. When I can get back to a computer with Lightroom I will make the adjustments to the image. Thanks again.
