    Default Redhead aerobics

This Redhead was putting his head back then would spring forward and make it's cat sound. Must be a display for the ladies :)

Hi Ron, love these kind of shots. It does seem this spring they have been doing a lot more calling then I remember from before. Sharp, exposure looks good as I would expect. Good to see you posting!

Very nice behaviour shot! The one thing that really weakens this otherwise beautiful image IMO, is the bird being so tight in the frame.

    Ron:

I am on the road, using a poor monitor at a relatives, but this is certainly fun, I love the 'right side up reflection' and the upside down reality.

Def. prefer the repost because of the extra room.

It looks a bit dark here, but probably fine on a calibrated monitor.

Here I am, stuck in Florida, and all the cool birds are in Michigan

    Cheers

Ron - I love, love, love the pose here! I like the repost with the extra room, but I would go further on the bottom if you have the canvas (you could manufacture it if you don't...) - part of the appeal of this shot is the relatively clear "right side up" reflection and it would be nice to see more separation between the reflected image and the edge of the canvas. I agree with Randy about the image being a bit dark - maybe a bit more "fill light" / elevation of the mid-tones?

Awesome pose! Love the water color too. The repost is a definite improvement, although the bird is still a little tight in the frame for my taste.
