We had a rare sunny afternoon here in Sydney today. I had a great time photographing Great and Pied Cormorants as they are busy with their nests and young.

Great action, Ofer. Love the way the sun highlights the head and wings. Nicely exposed.

    Ofer:

Well captured with excellent timing. Real sense of action with pose and flying water, but still able to see the eye well.
I love the feather detail on the shoulder, the subtle green sheen, good shooting angle too.

If you have it, I might consider a bit more room to the left.

    Cheers

Well timed to capture this action Ofer. Not sure if he is landing or taking off, but love the wingspread. Good underwing detail, and the flying droplets adds lots of interest.

I really like how I can see the eye clearly amongst the splashing water. Love the low angle and the action pose, the water droplets really add the sense of action in this image. Very good action shot, TFS.

Nice action Ofer - with all those water droplets the eye is still visable!

I assume this is a landing?

Very nice, I particularly like the gold tones under the wings, beautiful.
