Thought this might qualify as " An unfamiliar perspective".
Calm morning in the Banff area this summer.
Processed in Nik Silver Efex Pro.

Just flip vertically for a "regular" view.
Or check it out in color and B&W in the Landscape Forum.

    All C&C welcome.

Steve, I am amazed at what you can do with smoke! April Fool's on ya!

I really like all of the versions of this one and the flip is nice. I love how the water is like glass except for a small part right above (below) the surface. Nice effect and good OOTB thinking!

Very cool Steve! I had to look at it twice. Nice conversion and I like the downed tree, it adds to the composition. Banff sure is a special place-I can't wait to get back there.

Very nice image, Banff is a special place. Nice processing work. TFS
I rotated it 90 CCW, it looks like a flower vase. Cool

    Steve,

Beautiful composition. The water glare and distortion actually had me fooled as I thought it was haze for a second. Well done theme image.

Amazing image and that black and white conversion is da bomb, Steve! Man, how awesome! I just got a copy of the new Silver Efex and can't wait to play with it. Now I just need to take a trip to Banff...

Beautiful scene, Steve. At first glance, you can't even tell that it's been flipped. In fact, without you saying I don't think I would have noticed at all. Very nice B&W conversion, and great OOTB work!

The" reflection" of the mountains in monotone is wonderful--my favorite part of this image. I would not know the image had been flipped. Wow.
