Nikon D3 600 VR 1.4 converter taken at 840 mm. 1/250 at F7.1... ISO 200. I should have used a higher ISO but was playing around with setting. I wanted to see how the D3 performed at lower ISO. I know now that there's little difference and it better to set the ISO higher.

    Vivaldo

Excellent bee eater, very interesting perch, light angle gives some subtle shading which adds to the sense of form on the bird. Nice BG,eye and flared tail.

I might try a version with slight crop from the left.

    Cheers

Great image Vivaldo! I like the colours of the bee-eater, pose, perch and BG.

This is nice - there is a real pop to the bird. The light is great ansd the BG looks like a storm or smoke?

Hi Vivaldo, cool capture here, and I can see why you went with this comp - you obviously wanted to keep the end of the perch on the right. It works for me. Colours look good, sharp, and stands out nicely against the darker BG.
