Usual spot just before last xmas.

    D300; Sigma 500mm HSM; f8; 1/250sec; 200 ISO. 50% crop - the bird was pretty far away.

a question: should I crop further (just the face and part of the body)?

    Comments plz...

COMP and sharpness OK. The off-angle lightand the partially closed eye do not work for me. In addition, there is a big magenta cast.

I wouldnt crop any further, I think the frame is a little tight for me already.

As Artie mentioned sharpness is there and the comp is ok.

    Problems already mentioned also.

Details and eye contact look good. I don't see a magenta cast but wish the sun would have been lower and behind you. I might give it a bit more room at the top.
