Beautiful image Dumay! I like the pose, exposure and complimentary BG colours.

Gorgeous Shot! I like the pose and the textures in the bg giving a subtle hint and feel of it. Well done!!!

Lovely light, details and perch; and I like completely agree with James' thought on the bg.
I would move him further up in the frame or crop a bit from the top, but that's probably a personal preference. Great work!

Good choice of comp for the pose. Colours look good, and I like the overall sharpness on the shrike. Cool BG too. Well captured mate. Any news on the action at the hide?

Thanks guys...Stuart, the action is a bit quiet, but not terrible...Found the afternoon is good for the Herons, Cormies and Egrets in nice light...Also the PKs..This morning was ok not crazy, some nice PKs and had some Common Waxbills...Also a GBH both sessions...So not too bad

ISO didn't seem to hurt you. Nice looking bird, good pose, and a nice BG.

Wonderful portrait, beautiful colors. I tried taking a lot of photos of loggerhead shrikes down in Florida, but had a hard time making any of them look interesting. Great job on this.
