    Wood Duck hen taken in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge (Oklahoma). Nikon D300 with 600mm + 1.4, ISO 400, f6.3, 1/1250.

    I like the pose Dave, together with the detail. If this were mine, I would move him a little more over to the left, and remove the lower catchlight.

    Nice pose and light...I would take some off the top and do some NR on the water to smooth it off a bit..Nice one dave

    Dave:

    She looks nice, sharp, complimentary water.

    I would be inclined to crop down about 1/3 of the free space above, clean up the one large spot behind her tail and see what you think of the comp. It may still need the slight crop from the left as mentioned by Stuart, and yes to removing the second catchlight if it bothers you.
