    These definitely came "Out of the Box", but I decided to put them here anyway. They appear annually at the feeder; I managed to catch this portrait before my wife, Susan, dispatched them.

    1D MkIII, 500mm+1.4x, 1/40sec, f/6.3, ISO 400, WB cloudy (this is Oregon, you know).
    The "birds" were sitting on a different branch for the original image, but I decided to borrow this background from a different image.

    Craig, did you use a hide to capture this image? These little guys don't seem to stay around our place very long, real skitterish! :D

    Reminds me a little of this Washington Post story about the dioramas that artists have created using marshmallow Peeps!
