Took a ride yesterday to ESP with Gen and Bill. What a great place to shoot. Everywhere you turn is a photo op.
This was an HDR exposed image. Processed in Photomatix then converted in Nik Silver.

Joe, Your choice for Sepia tones is perfect for Capone's cell. Very well composed especially since the grid in front of the tiny shooting window(only on that cell) is so difficult to deal with. I love that place and I'm glad you went. I look forward to seeing more. My favorite view point of this scene to date!

I think this is a great image and the processing is just perfect for the scene. I love sepia!

This is great, Joe! I agree, the sepia was a good choice for this. Very nice exposure, light, detail gives the room so much charactrer. It looks like it could be a still frame from an old B&W film. Nice work!

Joe, very nicely seen and processed. Love the look. I really like how you converted it the Color Efex.

Very nice, Joe! I love the vintage sepia toning, and great detail and lighting. This is the kind of shot I would texturize to make it look even older, but this scene has so much texture already I don't really think it needs it. Well done!

I wonder how many other inmates had frilly lights, writing desk and area carpet...this image is almost ying and yang....decrepit conditions and upperclass furniture (for that time period).
I like the HDR effect and the use of sepia....well done

Wonderful comp and lighting, Joe. I immediately started to wonder what it was like to live there. Took me a while to see the painting... amazing!!!

Joe, this is nothing short of spectacular in my book. Your capture and composition are perfect and the Silver FX filter does an incredible job of maintaining tonal range and detail. Just super!

Paul said exactly what I was thinking, what a contrast of luxury and decrepitude!

The others have pretty much covered it but just wanted to add my congratulations on posting such an interesting image. Love the textures and tones in this, great job. By the way, what is ESP?
