Default "ReCreate"-Help- Artie is almost out of the box with his bird

Probably a little late for the contest, but I had to go to Alaska to get Arties photo.
I also need help with the suspension of the box. I would like to figure out how to put ropes from the corners to show how the box is suspended above the water. Started with the original photo and then began to become creative. If I knew how to use Photoshop, I would have a better chance. Hope you like the humor.
How it was done. First played with the bird photo, then worked with skew resizing, positioning and layers to do each side of the box. Then took the bird, andput it in the box, then artie in the box. Then took a sunset shot from Alaska for the background, and a shore image from San Simeon and combined them, light effects, some burn and dodge and here it is almost finished.

Steve, I need to take a closer look at this when I have time. Did you put a wig on Arthur? This is way cool but let me spend some more time on it when I get a chance.

    Denise,
No wig, he was wearing a hood against the cold in Alaska, as were most of us. I wanted him in a pose like Kilroy, but never got around to doing that. I preferred him behind the box instead of inside, but will have to leave it as is for now.

What a fun, creative idea, Steve! Like how you created a box from the image and incorporated Art's picture. Nice composition.

Steve, I think that you did a good job with this but it all may be just a bit tight in the frame, maybe reducing the size of the bird and or box might help. The only way I can think to add ropes would be to add a few screw in large eye hooks to the top of the box and use a rusty chain or rope. Or you could wrap the rope around the corners like you said. It may be hard to wrap the rope around the box but if you took your time you could do it, just not sure exactly what you had in mind. The re-create and the bird peeking out is great. Nice job. A hood! ahah!!

I had thought an eye bolt from the corners, perhaps shrink the box, but I did not store the layers so it would be a bit more work. eye bolts and rope or chain, but no idea how to do that. I could go to my boat and suspend some chain to start the image.
    To be continued.
    Thanks,

Too funny Steve, and a lot of PS work involved. Very creative! Who says you don't know how to use Photoshop?
