    Sony A850~Sony 70-400G@400mm~ISO400~1/2500 sec~F7.1~manual exposure~HH~3-21-2011~Baytown Nature Center, Texas~CS5/pixel bender/Topaz Simplify 3
    Image was a bit drab-added some color. Topaz simplify (painting preset) and pixel bender applied separately to background and egret/perch. comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill

    Bill, that is one hot egret! I like the wild color, it makes a nice contrast to the white bird. I really like the way the blue of the water changes up the color scheme. Good one.

    A very different look for you Bill, The background colors are wicked-they look like flames. Seems like a lot going on but I think the color separation helps define the scene.

    Wow! This is one colorful image, Bill! I like how the colors don't overwhelm the egret even though they're so bright. Well done!

    Wowsa! Love those colors and the swirls. Beautifully done. I also like the pose of the bird.

    I agree, Wow! Bill you are taking this to a whole new level! Either this Egret is rockin out, or he wants to jump in the water to cool his feet. Really like the comp, great bright colors, and nice stylized detail. Nice use of Topaz & PB.
