    Default Green mantis.

    This is one of my Favorite insects.. praying mantis..
    I see many photograph of mantis.. I notice most of shots of mantis are taken at day time..
    so, I take some different steps.. I found this green mantis at daytime but, I wait for night. And take care, mantis did not vanish from my eye's... Sound like craziness.. but.. I want to take experience.. of night photographing. with This buddy..

    Hi Joshi. I like the way the mantis is looming up out of the darkness. Good sharpness on the head and front legs. There is enough light on the mantis to clearly see what it is, while still retaining that nighttime feel.

    Nicely done, Joshi! I also like your night time approach. It really sets a mood and makes him appear even more alien-like than he normally does. Nice choice of aperture as well.

    Great idea to photograph this Mantis at night. It gives it a mysterious and somewhat ominous look.
